Just got a call come and get her, had to have an Injector replaced. Noticed last week Exhaust sounded like a frying pan being dropped into the sleeper, and a larger than usual puff of black smoke when it changed gears. Would this be the result of an injector going bad? The noise was only detectable after pulling away from a stop light.
Truck ran fine, thought it was best to get it checked out. Dealer said they noticed a skip in the Engine on the computer hope this takes care of it. Have had no Engine problems up to now, have both a Fuel Filter and a Water Seperator can't figure out how this went bad. Covered under warranty, otherwise it was gona be $800.
