War and Expediting

They say that when this war finally gets uderway, fuel prices are gonna sky rocket even higher than they are now. I live in Miami Florida and premium gas is already $2.00 a gallon. At first I didn't want this war but now I do, but my wallet is gonna suffer in the end. What is a trucker to do? If being in the military paid well I'd join in a heart beat, but it doesn't so I'm here.

i wont be able to run past 2.00 a gallon at least nothing that includes deadhead

Bullrush you've got a point there. Although I don't want to think it I feel that if fuel prices go any higher alot of truckers especially expediters like myself are gonna go bust. What happened to the good ol' days when diesel fuel was like a $1.10 a gallon?
