some of you drivers should get a chuckle out of this one. I drive a 2006 3500 series chev express van. I was dispatched to a load about a 100 miles from home. 1 bin 1200 lbs.no problem I'm good for about 3000 lbs if loaded right. Off I go to the customers place for my pick-up. I get this deer in the headlight look from the customer. Seems my 1200 lb bin had become a bin PLUS a die (2 pieces) @ 13220 lbs going to Nebraska somewhere. Needless to say they never called dispatch to adjust the equipment requirement. I get paid for a suspended order and empty 1 way.
Seems the customer was granted some additional time by their customer so they put together the entire shipment. By the time they are done they will need a tractor trailer as there was 6 small coils of steel going as well.
Oh well win some lose some as they say.
