According to the union American manufacturing jobs are being shipped overseas. The economy is in the dumps.

So does it make sense to go on STRIKE, their timing couldn't be worse.

From what I understand they are going on strike, 1. because they have no local contract and 2. to put pressure on GM to put the Pressure on American Axel to resolve their strike so they can get back to the business of building vechicles .

It seems to me everytime they strike they just give the manufacters another excuse to ship more jobs overseas.

They left the people at American Axel really no choice, work there 10-20 yrs have a certian standard of living, and get offered to get your pay cut in half and pay alot more for your ins. So you loose your home and car. Where they suppose to just roll over and say.... OK.

So this is George Bush's campaign slogan: Are you better off now than you were 4 years ago? I think not. How can we care about our country's security when in another 4 years we won't even be able to afford the security for our country. I can see the day when we will be the ones who are running to Mexico and Canada because there are no jobs here.

OMG. Don't get me started on this issue! Are we better off than 8 years ago? HA HA. What a laugh! That is not a question. That is a big joke!
