I just saw a Tri-State van pulling a big new camper trailer. Is this a new thing for them. Lol

It's that, or it's our friend trying to do what Alexander Bell, Thomas Edison and Albert Einstein couldn't do.

Note: I was thinking about that bit. Thomas Edison made electric light commercially feasible, but--- he stuck with DC power generation long after others proved AC power was the way to go for providing power to cities. So, even the great inventors sometimes tried to stick with out-dated ideas.

Recent history: Pkoelle wants to tow a travel trailer behind a cargo van. He mentioned a number of inventors and geniuses in support of his idea.

History quite a bit further back: It's on record that Thomas Edison built DC generators to light cities. He had an ongoing feud with Westinghouse, who built AC generators for the purpose of lighting cities and powering factories. AC power won out because it is more efficient and uses less copper, but Edison wouldn't give up his beloved DC. So, even the most brilliant men occasionally do daft things.

I hope Pkoelle tries the cargo van/travel trailer idea and writes back here to tell us how it works for him. I'm guessing, from past experiences towing a trailer, that it won't work as well as he hopes and further, that all those brilliant men wouldn't be able to make it work either.

Oh I completely missed all that in that post. Sorry. I thought you were implying Thomas Edison and the others pulled trailers with c/v. Lol
