2011 traffic deaths a record low | Reuters

Since the DOT, FMCSA are pushing speed limiters and EOBR Use I wonder if these facts will be taken into account by them. The Sleep Apnea crazies dont seem to be dropping like flies....Lowest amount of fatal accidents since 1949....Gee it couldnt be that Professional drivers are better then once percieved.

Fatalities in motor vehicle traffic crashes have been on a
downward trend since 2005. In fact, fatalities have declined
about 24 percent from the recent peak of 43,510 fatalities in
2005 to the 32,885 fatalities reported in 2010.

Its quite evident that Large trucks arent the culprits were made out to be look at these charts, its amazing with how many Millions of truckers operating in the USA alone and in 2009 there were 503 trucks involved in Fatal accidents versus 24474 Autos involved in fatal accidents....Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Do you think Speed Limiters would have an affect on these numbers,

Do you think EOBRS Would have any effect...

Do you think Sleep Apnea testing is deserved by a Professional driving profession that had 5 times fewer less fatal accidents with MILLIONS of miles further travel and time behind the wheel...
