This issue was written about in the October 1-14, 2005 edition of "The Trucker" magazine (distributed free at many truck stops). It is sad to read of the officers that DO NOT KNOW THE LAW and issue tickets anyway. While a driver may be able to prove his or her innocence, the inconvenience and expense of doing so is an undue and unfair burden.
