Using a propane heater while awake with window cracked but I'd like to find a better heat source w/o running engine.I've found diesel fired units are there any gas ones available?
The characteristics of gasoline (mainly its high flash point) make it impractical to use in any type of heater. I don't know of any that exist. Diesel fuel is actually a thin oil, aka #2 heating oil. It handles very well with its low flash point in burner type heaters.
