FYI

Be careful out there.

7 August 2006 - suspicious vehicle and persons in Linden, New Jersey. A
1994 silver Chevrolet Astro van (NJ Registration UPF-86G) was observed
near a tractor/trailer in the Linden area. When the driver of the T/T
approached the van, the driver stated that they were waiting for someone,
but then drove off.

The vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation and the following
individuals were inside:

1. Ramon VILLEGAS Hispanic Male DOB: 2/26/74 Bronx, NY address
2. Angulo Gabriel PLUTARCO Hispanic male DOB: 3/18/63 Florida address
3. German CUADRADO Hispanic male DOB: 6/15/77 Allentown, PA Address,
numerous arrests.
4. Carlos Ordonez ESCALANTE Hispanic male DOB: 3/5/75 Bklyn, NY address,
numerous arrests

A search of the vehicle revealed several suspicious items including three
flashlights, a pry bar, a plumber's wrench, channel lock pliers, several
screwdrivers, three pairs of gloves and a ski mask.

The Linden-Elizabeth corridor has become a hotbed for cargo thieves. These
groups have gotten extremely sophisticated, and it is not unusual for them
to place members of their crews into trucking/shipping/warehousing
operations in order to gain knowledge of the operation

This sounds very similar to the gang that cases the T/T before hitting
them.

Please advise all drivers and security personnel to be on the alert for
this vehicle. If any information is developed, please contact me.
