The way it is possible is because she herself is a woman witch makes her a girl, so the answer is 4 boys + 3 girls + her (a girl) = an even amount on both parts. The other half are girls.

Sounds like my family with 7 boys. I never could figure out the pattern for making a girl. Should I have kept my eyes open more?
