List ur remember when truck stops had or did not have the things we have now, anyone got stories from the 30's 40's or 50's. Maybe ur Dad or a relative drove trucks during those times.

I barely remember..but they didn't wear gloves for serving food, the cooks smoked while cooking, grease everywhere, and we are still alive to talk about it...those were great days...

The truck driver of today would be soooo out of place...a bunch of pansy whansies today...

By the responses so far it appears that we are way to young for the question and way to spoiled to care with all our airconditioned trucks and vans and places to eat. Id say none so far has a clue of old trucking days, but we are to young and missed some history along the way,,u think??
