Canada Question about US Bound freight

Yesterday I did my first Canada to US load. I have done several US to Canada loads and am familiar with the PARS and all that. The shipper had all the paperwork in order with several copies. I simply filled out the name and license plate sections and placed one of my companies PAPS barcode stickers on both types of forms. The broker was Dell Will and it had been faxed to them the day before. When I got to the border at the Ambassador Bridge everything seemed to go fine and I was not detained. The guard gave me my drivers license and birth certificate back as well as the receipt for the $5 homeland security charge and said everything cleared. I left and got back out on I-75 and realized the guard did not give me back any copies of the PAPS forms. Will I or my company need these to show that the freight cleared? I know when I go into Canada they always give me back a copy of the PARS form with a stamp showing it had cleared. Any advice on what I should do at this point??? Thanks for the help.

Thanks so much L-boy. I will sleep much better tonight. I know I should have just asked my dispatcher, but I like to be a TRUE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR and handle most of the problems myself. I just don't like to look stupid. Know what I mean??
