Can someone tell me about power dolly legs? How do they work? Can you get a power unit to work on existing legs? If so, who makes such a unit, what does it cost, etc. Thanks for any info.
Power legs are great! They have there own pump and resovior for legs to operate. You can buy a air operated unit from a trailer company. You cannot retro fit your existing legs to hydraulic. Be sure to mount the remote control unit away from the rear so you don't have to stand in the mud to set your legs.
I just purchased a truck with power legs. It's a great option to have. Keeps you out of the water muck and mire in the truck wells. Even better on the outside wells. My controls are mounted next to the drivers seat. I just stand next to truck and watch them come down, and when raising, you raise them until you can't see them under the axel and thats high enough. In my service records, I found that the first owner purchaced this setup at a price of $2300.00 Hope this helps you. good Luck...Butch
Sorry Leo, all it says is TDS. Get in touch with Siverdollar Here on EO. He is who I bought the truck from. By the way. My Power legs are Electric. Hope this helps...Butch.....
