Hi all, just wanted to let you all know that I'll be posting places to park, like certain exits that have food and malls and shopping, instead of just truckstops... most exits I list will have fuel or fuel nearby.

exit 9 off 385 in SC has truck parking, diesel, and a waffle house. drive straight into the town of Laurens "to" Route 76 and there's a Eckards and McDonalds, go right for food, and left for Wal-Mart, it's not a SuperCenter, but it's got Blockbuster and other places all around there. Rt. 76 is 5 miles off of I-385.
Simpsonville, SC, which is north of Laurens on 385... has plenty of places too: Cracker Barrel, a SuperCenter, plenty of food places, shopping places, and stuff in general.
Laurens is quieter - much quieter, none the less though it's a nice place if you're looking for a break from it all... makes for a peaceful place to relax for expediter couples. There's a walking path along "the little river", and a good italian place on the downtown square. Hope this helps somebody.
