Placement of Sticker

Morning people

Okay we have seen several places where this sticker has been stuck.
Is there a correct place for the DOT sticker that shows your truck is in compliance. The white square one that lists the owners address and name. For the life of me I can't think of it's correct name it has to be the time of day.

If you have an M2, when you open the drivers door there's a good spot for it in the bottom, right corner of the opening.

In my Sprinter I just keep it in the blue binder along with all my other paperwork. Never had a problem doing it this way.
