A semi driver was observed pulling over every few miles, getting out, and banging on the side of his trailer with a mallet. After seeing this happen for a few times, a cop finally pulled him over to ask what he was doing. The driver replied, "I have a load of canaries and I'm overweight. I have to keep some of them flying around back there."
