You gotta love the olympics.
You have all of the underlying stories. The basketball teams that are expected to just crush everyone. The Williams sisters. The gold/silver fencing finals between two americans. The 41 year old swimmer.
I could go on and on but that swim by the american 4x100 freestyle relay team was absolutely one of the best I have ever seen. Having been a high school swim coach I know what it takes to do what they did. To be down a body length with 1 lap to go and to over take the french like that was one for the record books. Not to mention that it keeps Phelps on track for a record breaking 8 golds in 1 olympics.
