thats funny right there.as he wants the debt celing raised he wants to spend more money that we dont have.The U.S borrows 40 cents of every dollar it spends yet the democrats say we dont have a spending problem.Tax the rich,spend spend spend. tax the rich, spend spend spend, tax the rich,spend spend spend.
today at the white house news confrence Obama says"I'm very amused when i start hearing,well the president needs to show more leadership on this". He thinks its funny that people think he is not showing leadership on this.This is something that has been being talked about for months now and he is just now getting in on the talks with just over a month to go.lets take a look at what Obama had to say in 2006 when bush said the debt celing needed to be raised.
"The fact that we are here today to debate raising americas debt limit is a sign of leadership failure" or this one."Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and our grandchildren" Then he voted on on the bill to raise the debt ceiling.seems he did not find it so funny then.
I say let america default on its debts.then no other country will lend us that 40cents on every dollar we spend.then both sides the left and the right will be forced to do their jobs they were elected to do.
