ABERDEEN -- A North Dakota man herding cattle northwest of Aberdeen was seriously hurt when a cow bumped him, knocking him off his four-wheeler.
Brown County sheriff's deputy Scott Kolb identified the man as 55-year-old Gary Skjefte of Oakes, N.D.
Kolb says Skjefte suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries to his shoulder, chest and ribs in Tuesday evening's crash.
A nursing supervisor at Avera St. Luke's hospital in Aberdeen says Skjefte was in fair condition Wednesday.
