I see most gas prices in the northern states over 4 dollars a gallon.Chicago the other day was $4.17 - $4.33. Southern states are cheaper. Try GasBuddy.com

Just make sure you check the time on the gas price report at GasBuddy. Some are more than 24 hours old.
