Strange occurrence. I arrived at a shipper. It was the typical crossdock configuration of a bazillion back-to-back docks with an office at one end. It was one of the most ship shape crossdocks I’ve seen. I checked in at the dispatch window and was told to wait for the foreman. Another van showed up and the driver, appearing familiar with the operation, filled out the sign-in log, slammed his fist on the counter, and bruskly yelled, “Pick-up.”
