I wonder how many of the "gun free" safety zones are also "knife free" zones? I wonder just how safe the manager would have been if the store had been a "gun free" zone prior to the incident?

Apparently this decision relates to Chevron corporate policy. The letter linked below addresses recent legislation in LA, but clearly spells out Chevron's strict policy prohibiting firearms on their property.
