McAllen TX Border Patrol Check Point

My son, in his 18 wheeler was going thru the border patrol routine check point this evening and they had their dog going around the truck checking it out and got to the cab and the dog started whining or whatever it does . So the guards ask him if he had anyone in the cab and he said no. Then one of the guards notices hand prints on the top edge of the cab and they found a Mexican mom and 2 kids underneath the air dam on the cab. Well they took my son's picture and all and let him go. They said this happens a lot and reminded him to check all loads coming out of TX and and the air dam and look underneath the trailer too.


So, check your rigs from front to rear , you never know when you got hitchhikers.............Being an X cv driver, that never crossed my mind...

I was parked behind the fuel island at the Love's truck stop just north of McAllen one day and watched two illegals crawl under the air dam on a truck sitting at the fuel island. The driver was inside the building. I went inside and found him. He run run 'em off and the guy at the fuel desk called border patrol but they were gone of course by that time. Scary part? I watched em check the truck's doors before they crawled up on the back of it. They would have been in the sleeper if he hadnt locked his doors.
