I know my response is long but it made me remember.

Abbout 14 years ago I had a part time Job working at the V.A. hospital physical theripy dept. and I saw the actual cost of our freedom from WW 1 and up I heard the storries that some preaty boy actor movie cannot come close to. One of the vets I worked with Victor served in the U.S. Navy in WW 1 and WW 2. He earned his way up through the ranks and by the time he retired he spent several years in a verry high rank. As he put it me once the only person higher in rank than him when he walked onto a vessle was God Im sorry I dont recall his actual rank.

Unfortunately most of our WW 2 veterans are dead but I will never forget what I heard some of these men endured, saw and done so graphic I cannot even concive in my mind not to mention repeat here so you and I can speak the english language and have the freedoms that get taken for granted, forgotten, and trampled on. I guarentee you that if our politicians respected our vets and fought a war like we did then we would not be in the Middle East twelve years later.

Thats All.

I totally agree that the veterns should be treated better. My brother was in the service 1976-1982, and now he has trouble getting the service he well deserves. (Non miltary disability). He work for many years in his feild but when he needs something done he has to beg for help..
The thing he is saying that, people can be lazy and get everthing handed to them.
