Hundreds of prisoner mistreatment photos to be released

Thanks to the ACLU's insistence, and the federal government's acquiescence, the Dept of Defense has been ordered to release hundreds more photos of prisoner mistreatment. Remember the Abu Ghraib debacle?

What possible motive is served by releasing more damaging photos? Whose agenda is being served? All in the name of transparency, don't you know.

With the stroke of a pen, Obama could prevent the release of these photos by declaring it not in our national security interest to do so. More American soldiers and American civilians will die as a result of this release.

I am reluctant to use the word stupid. However, in this case, I must say the America-haters on the Left are stupid. Dangerously stupid.

You are far too easy on the FOOLS and MORONS pushing this. The damage they will do will be immense. Three people waterboarded. BIG DEAL. Compared to 3000 plus killed who give's a rat's derriere? Gitmo has treated them far gentler and kinder than I would have. Now they are going to release 17 of the little darling Jihadists to a suburban neighborhood in PA or NJ. Don't worry about them though. They'll be just fine BECAUSE THE FOOLS AND MORONS ARE GOING TO PUT THEM ON THE WELFARE ROLLS WITH OUR TAX MONEY!!!

Looks like Dick Cheney's argument for preventing release of these photos got the better of Obama. In a stunning reversal, today, President Obama announced he has changed his mind on this matter and will not allow the photos to be released after all.

I am beginning to believe Obama will listen to advice from grown-ups. Particularly on military matters and national security. Ya know, those generals and admirals just have an unique way of getting in your face and explaining reality.

On the other hand, I wouldn't be too surprised if the ACLU with a little help from Obama's staffers find a way to surreptitiously sneak a few of the most damaging photos into the newsroom at CNN. Time will tell if Obama has spoken truthfully on this subject.
