Anyone care to disclose what your making a mile and with what type of vehicle and who your driving for? From reading the posts in this newsgroup, I would have to say I am glad I didn't jump on with fedexcc or any other big company. I am currently with a couier service in town and make 75% of the 2.05 a mile they charge for straight truck service. I stay in the state about 80% of the time but will get a hot run out of state the other 20%. Some days it dead but others its busier than hell. I have a FL70 with a 26in sleeper. I got rid of my big rig so I wouldn't have to live in my truck. The small sleeper on this is just enough for an overnighter.
