Hey everyone..
Have a 2010 hino 268, turbo went out while going empty on small incline changing 5th to 6th gear I hear a weird noise and completely lost power, took next exit to inspect and turbo was jammed up. We bought a rebuilded turbo from our regular provider, put it on, started smoking (though it was due previous turbo allowed oil to pass by and was still burning it) but after a short ride (about 6 miles) turbo jammed again.
Though something was wrong with the rebuilded turbo, provider sent another one under warranty, put the new one and again, truck smoking and no power (another 5-7 mile drive ) removed turbo hoses and a it has a little play (to the sides, up and down but). Truck still smoking.
I just got another replacement but kind of afraid might be some else causing turbos to malfunction and not necessarily them being bad.
Any ideas will be much appreciated
