Has anyone purchased/used Airtab?

I'm very interested in this concept, especially if it can save me up to 8% on my fuel, annually!! Just curious if anyone, who checks/ reads on here has purchased one, Thanks.

I have them. I can't tell you if they change anything since I put them on at the very beginning. I have talked to two other owners who told me they saw a recordable increase in fuel economy as well as better stability when being passed by other trucks. For only $200 investment even if it's just more stable it seems worth it.

I put one of the air foil things on to of one of my duallys. All I consider it to be is an expensive ornament for the top of the truck. I pulled the same type trailer all the time and I notices very little to no fuel savinga!

I recently bought a set of AirTabs to do the box on my truck. I haven't put them on as it's been too cold in NE oHIo lately. I have a good record of my fuel usage for the truck and I'll be looking closely at the numbers after I get the AirTabs mounted.

I'll be quite happy if there is a positive effect on mileage, but I'll be happy if they cut down on the wind buffetting.

It will be VERY interesting to learn of your results. I hope you share!

Have been using them since Oct of last year and like them alot. The fuel savings has been hard to track, we installed rear centramatics, new rear shocks and new steers at the same time. We also went into winter diesel and Howes about the same time.

I find that if I get a little fuel savings, it's either gobbled up by pushing the truck for a tight load, or sustained by keeping my foot off the throttle.

But they do very well with buffeting and rear visibility. It seems that with a very strong crosswind the truck doesn't react as wildly, it's slipping thru that wind gust.

And the claim about the rain being skirted down behind the truck is accurate for us. It's especially noticable when changing lanes in blowing snow! I can actually see the lane behind me. The cheap price is worth that feature by itself.

I guess most people put them on the back of the box of the truck (Straight) or is there other spots the people recommend for these.

As a fashion accessory, you could sew some down the sides of your jacket. You'd be the hit of your next training meeting. :)
