Gulf Coast Filters

Just wondered if anyone has had any experience with the Gulf Coast bypass oil filter. It sounds interesting. I'm already disgusted with the costs of servicing my MBE900, and after investing $122,000 in the truck, it would be nice to get more than 300,000 miles out of the engine before it goes to pieces. This sounds like a way to preserve the engine and avoid making Mercedes any richer by not needing so many of their expensive filters.

I looked at them and went with the fs2500 bypass system instead. www.fs2500.com Good luck.
