Hi everyone, My wife and I have been researching this business for over a year now and this will be our first thread. Ya hoo!
We finally took the plunge. Over the last year we have visited the truck show in Louisville, expediters workshop in South Bend, and the expediters truck show in Ohio. This thread is just to say we had a great time at all these events. We met some wonderful poeple, made some friends and lots of aquaintenses, and of course, learned so very much about the business of expedite trucking that we so want very much to be a part of in the future. We still have a lot of learning to do and thank everyone for their help and advise. Lo, we have decided that now is not the time for us to take the leap. The economy has not rebounded enough and the numbers for us do not crunch in the plus column. For now our career change is on hold, but with optimism that the future holds fun and prosperity in expediting for us, we will continue to read and learn from all that we met and read about here online. Thanks everyone; we will remain in touch. Russ & Judy from Wisconsin

I think you are very wise to wait at this time......especially if you aren't sure. Keep on doing your 'homework' and learn all you can. BTW........I met you at the motel the night of the "fire" alarm and again at the expo. Stay in touch and best of luck to you. :)
