I like the one from the movie V for Vendetta; "people shouldn't be afraid of their government, but instead government should be afraid of the people".

I just saw "V For Vendetta" for the first time on late night cable TV about 3 weeks ago. The political and social themes running throughout the movie were about as interesting as any movie I have ever seen. I need to watch "V" again, more carefully to catch the sublime moments, as there were many. I highly recommend "V" for anyone interested in political/social commentary.
