A friendly reminder to my American friends that GOOD FRIDAY is a public holiday in Canada.
If you are coming up here; I hope you've made arrangements if you expect to get unloaded that day.
Customs at the border will be open.
The truckstops will be open but most businesses will be closed.

It must be nice not to have to mess with the clowns from the ACLU. If America ever tried to make Good Friday a public holiday I can just hear the shrill shrieking of "separation of church and state" blah, blah, blah.
We would have to call it "A Beginning of Spring Holiday" or some other such nonsense.
