Been on the west coast for several weeks running hard along I-15, I-5 and in between using the generator quite a bit with the 90+ temperatures. It has cut my fuel mileage by 1.5 to 2mph on those really hot days. Hard to find a tree in many places to get some shade and can’t stop in the higher elevations to escape heat all the time.
When it’s breezy keeping the windows open with screens saves using the generator. Next trip home I’ll pick up my backpacking hammock that has a noseeum screen attached and see if that will help?
Any body got suggestions on other methods to save fuel?
