Recently my company has had several attempts to defraud my insurance by making false claims as well as using my DOT number to rebroker loads. How this has been happening is the person using my dot takes the load, then rebrokers the load to a company called integrity. Then calls the original broker and says they need a fuel advance or thier broke down and need a cash advance on the load in order to deliver on time. The last load was found in an abandoned in Cali. So far all I'm out is my pride. So THE LAW SAYS THERES NO CRIME. Even though in my mind they have stolen my I.D. so to speak, and using it for wrongful profit. Thank God for my insurance company saying NO i'm not paying the claim until I talk to the owner of the company. Thsi person is operating out of Lyden, WA and has a throw away cell from from AT&T. So far all of these loads have been from states WE do not run in. First red flag.
