I have a big favor to ask of CURRENT fleet owners:
Would you please PM me with financial stats, specifically: what are YOUR very own earnings per truck, as a rule? There have been so many conflicting "opinions" in threads on here, from people who haven't actually managed a fleet, people who did so 15 years ago, people who over-extended too quickly, etc.
I am talking a SMALL fleet here...right now 3 vans; the projected maximum is 6, and that is not any time soon.
We are just trying to get a feel if we are on the right path here with what the contracted drivers are being paid, vehicle maintenance, et al.
What we don't want? This to turn into a public opinion, research, or an advice thread; just the facts in a PM.
We THINK we know what we're doing, given this industry; we just want to make certain.
