Just got back from the eye doctor where we discussed the results of my eye test and I heard some news that I want to pass on.
According to the Nurse many Professional Drivers have been placed out of service by the FMCSA due to the new Visual Medical Waiver Regulations. I immediatly notified OODIA to investigate how many people this may effect.
I cant help but think of some poor driver way out of state trying to get their Medical card updated and then being stuck due to being placed out of service.
If you have a Visual Medical Waiver it may be a good idea to get your medical check up at home and to follow this closly.
