Seasoned Expediter
just moved up here to the R.I. and want to get back into expediting. really liked the job and the sites you get to see and things to do when not on a load, ect. but see i realize the majority of the freight usually runs from Michigan to Texas, and into Canada; sometimes N.Y. state. my question is, would I get a decent chance of finding freight moving this way, so i don't have to choke on the fuel bill for a ride home?
would I be better served buying my own van, as when I drove before a certain individual failed to pay for trips i had ran. i know there's decent owners out there, but the good ones usually have their rides filled.
anyhow, thanks ahead for any advice you fellow road warriors have for this 'ol #####.
