does anyone carry carry a metal detector in there truck??

just wondering if anyone ran a metal detector on there down time...a couple of us used to have them about 8 years ago,and as a hobby we would go to different areas..it was great exercise, and shortly they paid for themselves..being in the expedite business, with our down time and different areas around the country, a person should find many locations to pass there time. i believe its time for me to get back into the hobby and try some of the old parks that i drive by everyday..

I've got a metal detector at the house and did think about bringing it along. Next time I'm home I'll put it in the truck. Thanks for the reminder!

Yep I carry one. Also have a sand scoop for going through sand quickly.
