I for one would rather think of immigration nowadays as more of a stampede. Since the beginning of our country we have been known as the melting pot and in the beginning that was necessay to populate .
Somewhere along the way things have really fell apart. It looks like to me the melting pot is boiling over and the ones of us that have been here all our lives are the ones getting burned. I vote for closing the borders for a period to all immigrants and make an effort to enforce the laws in place for a change!:-(
