Couriers

In the local paper an ad appeared for O/O's to run for a courier service, local and long distance. The company is called xpedx, and I understand that it is somehow part of International Paper, so the deliveries should be hard and heavy, if it is paper. They need one-ton cargo vans. As I am making plans for a 2nd career, I wonder if anyone on this forum has ever been an O/O for a courier service (not necessarily xpedx) and what sort of money you made, what sort of hours, etc. I have read this forum and others like this, and the one thing that I have learned is to be financially ready to engage in any aspect of the trucking business. Would appreciate any and all replies, as long as they are helpful, and not derogatory. (Yes, I can take "NO" for an answer...I hear it every nite around 11pm)

To the best of my knowledge Expedex delivers mainly to Banking and Data processing operations that use tons of paper and preprinted forms.I thought they only used Comapny drivers and not O/Operators.
