ConocoPhillips plans to produce diesel fuel from beef, pork and poultry by-product animal fat supplied by Tyson Foods. Production is expected to ramp up as much as 175 million gallons per year of renewable diesel using thermal depolymerization. It's an NExBTL, H-bio process, different from biodiesel, and the fuel is expected to meet federal ULSD specs. Recently ConocoPhillips joined the U.S. Climate Action Partnership.
