I read the Panther Bashing,Landstar Bashing, and others. There is no perfect company and there is no perfect driver. Patience is a must in this field. Remember dispatch job is to get material moved on the companys vehicles. They are not the complaint dept. or an arbitrator. If they request you to move a load and you do not like the terms just refuse it you have the final say if your truck moves or not.
If you accept the load and it turns out to be different from what you accepted. Bring it to there attention if they do not have the authority or will not honor terms that you aggreed to you have options. If you do this you better be sure you have all the documentation on QC and know your contract with the carrier. Be ready to justify why you have taken these actions. Remember every action has a reaction.
I left FedexCC because of policy changes after the Purchase of Roberts. I did not leave right away because there is time needed for every one to adjust to the new way not only Drivers ,Dispatch, Sales,Safety, and Middle Management after that time you will need to make a decision. Do not let emotion dictate this decision.
Important not to burn bridges when you leave because you never know when they might be your carrier again by acquisition and policies may have changed.
