cancelled load

After you have been dispatched with a "b" unit and the load is cancelled are you paid for show-up. If so how much. Just had this happen and would like to know what other companies do. thanks. x(

Chances R your load wasn't cancelled:the shipper found a cheaper rate/truck..Some pay and the <75 are your reward!!

I had a load that didn't cancel, but it was discovered it was 2 inches too big to fit in the doors of the van (B unit). I was paid for showing up (~$150). Shipper had to stay late until the company could get another truck in there. I had about 120 miles deadhead each way (from home then back). Not too bad for not doing anything.
