I am looking at putting on a 2nd truck, possibly w/ ASAP. I have tried searching the archives. I typed in "ASAP" & tried the various choices on how to search. I got very few subjects & none of them were on ASAP.
My questions are:
1)How would I go about searching the arvhives for this company.
2)Does anyone have opinions on this company?? Good or bad will be appreciated.
3) I want to sell my van to the guy who will be driving it. He's my neighbor. My thinking is I'd do something along the lines of a 60/40 split & the money I made on this would be applied to the purchase of the truck. When I got the amount I was selling the truck for, I would give him the title.
My question is how would this work out tax wise? Would my % be considered earned income since I still had the title to the truck? Or is there a legal way to tell the IRS that "the money I'm bringing in is being applied to the sale of my truck?"
Any suggestions would be helpful,
