1)im looking into buying a straight truck. most these companys do not say what year they accept.
2) live and pa ..wanna leave for 10 days at a time will i make any money???

Have you driven a straight truck? Have you driven a truck over the road?
Most here would recommend driving for a truck owner before you hop into a truck payment or your own truck

i drivin 24 footer in nyc for 4 yrs. my father drives 18-wheeler he drives local in nyc but i don't like it .he make great money as he owns his truck and flat-bed. i do have my class A . but i wanna know if there is money in this. i do not have over the road exp ..

I'll let others answer the money question
If you know what your doing and your on with a good company, yes you can make money, but it's a tough business in this economy
If your willing to drive tractor trailer OTR possibility of even better money
And if you can make it to the expo you can talk to companies directly
