THis discussion was started in another thread so I wanted to move here and ask how many of you are signed up thru your phone company to recieve Amber Alerts on your cell phone? there is no cost. Some people claim it is a waste of time and money and not successful but at least one researcher says it has helped in about 1/3 of the cases with tips to police or the kidnapper releasing the child after hearing the Amber alert
