Lets see, I would have finished Law School, then gone into Politics, get Elected to Congress and become rich.

My wife and I teamed for close to 20 years ( Roberts, FedEx, Con-way Now and finally Panther ) we enjoyed the time together and all the things we saw, but at 80 and 78 we made to move to retire. But memories of good people will be forever.

I replaced my last 4 vans at about 600K, all Chev 3500 with 6 litter engines. Good trucks.

Started with Roberts 03/1996, hung it up With Panther in 12/2013,

Just an observation, with that many truck why limit yourself to jusr expediting. There are more avenues open for semi's in other area's.

I could come out of retirement for that truck, but at 82 I don't think its practical, LOL

When Roberts was taken by FedEx, that was a sad day.

I can't remember the last time I wasn;t ask at a truck stop by a semi driver if we make any money driving a van. And you have honest and say no. When I started with Roberts in 1996, I would say yes, but no more.

I've owned 11 trucks during my trucking career.
