    Three months of flat rate

I think FedEx is doing whatever is the most profitable for them. We can only haul freight exclusively for FedEx Custom Critical, but they are free to broker out loads to any carrier they please.

    Three months of flat rate

So far my miles have been up but my average per mile is down. Loaded miles rate down $.10. All miles rate down $.21. Since we run team and do more than 120,000 miles my gross income will be down more than $20,000 this year over last year. I'm going solo this month to see how that works out.

    Three months of flat rate

Since no surface trucks have responded I'm assuming everyone is happy with the new pay plan?

    Three months of flat rate

So we've been flat rate for three months now. How is it working out for you? So far all I've seen is our rate per mile go down and our dry run count go up. I haven't seen more loads or "more miles". I wonder when the contractors will begin seeing the benefits of this program.

    WG Glove Changes

I called and they are not accepting any C or D dry boxes. They seemed to be only interested in finding tractors to pull company owned reefer trailers. Sent from my XT897 using EO Forums mobile app

    Fleet Specialists

If it works the way it did when we were on the old flat rate the FS should be able to keep us predispatched most of the time. Sent from my XT897 using EO Forums mobile app

    who's running the freight

No WG slots available for a dry box. I think we can do as well on flat rate as we did on percentage. It's all in how you play the game.

    Long deadheads

This weekend we did an 811 mile dh from Fort Worth to Atlanta. Picked up one skid (HAZMAT) and delivered in Brooklyn which was 862 loaded miles. With the HAZMAT and NYC pay and tolls it paid fairly well. Sent from my SCH-S738C using EO Forums mobile app
