The system cannot be too deeply automated if it doesn't have an automated response to an incorrect number as well as some contractors receiving almost immediate phone calls concerning mistakes.

FedEx confirms that the $138 fee is a purchase so that may change some minds here.

I hesitated to answer the money question because it hasn't been explained to us if it's a purchase fee or an installation fee. As we don't "own" any of the other c-link equipment, I find it odd that we would be purchasing the scanner. The fee IS $138, but until someone from FedEx makes it...

When we check in and choose whether or not we are available via c-link, we've "set" our status. Any changes made to that status should require that we be notified, we shouldn't have to keep checking our status on the c-link to see if someone has changed it. You're on the committee, Linda...fix...

Maybe it's time to consider a different approach to the contractors. It's obvious to everyone here in the forums that FedEx has been bleeding contractors, many of them long-time, excellent people. We're offered bonuses for a lot of things, recruiting others, getting clearances, seeking and...
