That may be true for the van but Racor and Wix both markets the screw on filter for the pickup. The one mounted on the engine. The screw on one on the van I bet is the same filter. I have bought Racor filters back in 01-02 time frame. White with black lettering RACOR on it...

I would have thought the pickup and van fuel filter was the same. The p/u has one filter so does the van use 2 filters? Where is the 2nd one located? Sounds like it has 2 air filters as well.

    whos busy

I don't understand why you guys can't average 400 miles per day unless you are doing a lot of stops. I pulled horse trailers, rv's, boats, etc. and stayed log book legal and drove 600-700 miles a day. It is a matter of staying with it and minimize stops and run the speed limit. I didn't always...

I can buy air filters, Wix or AC (prefer AC) at a local parts store for $27.00. I have my oil changed at a local auto shop for $68.00 including filter. Try the following places on the internet to get filters and save some money. http://www.gmdieseltech.com/store2/ http://www.kennedydiesel.com/...

I am retired from the Army and from a aerospace company. I started...

    non cdl truck?

If they are towing their own personal fifth wheel trailer and not for commercial transport then a CDL is not required no matter how heavy it is. CDL is COMMERCIAL drivers license. If a private truck and trailer is stopping at the scales then they are nuts anyway. They need to read the signs.

Response to the first post. I have an 03 3500 dually with a duramax and allision trans and previously had an 01 2500HD. The dually has 253K on it and has been and still is a strong running truck. It weighs 8600 lbs unloaded and I have gotten 18.5 running 65-70 but that is rare. I normally run...
